Here we are in the middle of summer, July we will be taking a break from our Monthly meeting since its so close to the Independence Day holiday.
If you are in the Jay area, Town of Jay will be having Fireworks again this year on the 4th around 8:45pm to be shot from the park as they have been for the last several decades
In June we had our part 4 of the oilfield series and we talked to Donna & Duane Diamond, 2nd generation of Cobb's Welding Service they celebrated their 50th year of service to the oilfield and community.

We also lost our dear friend and board member Wayne Godwin on June 13, 2023. We are grateful for his service, wisdom and energy he brought to the society. He will be greatly missed.

Our fundraisers help us maintain the museum operations and buildings. We are still actively planning our pioneer homestead and pursuing grants and donations.
Our goal is to have this complete and printed by October. Just in time for the Peanut Festival and Munson Heritage Festival.
